Arizona Wedding Guide
When most people imagine Arizona, they see cactuses and desert. And while most of those visions would be correct since even their state bird is a Cactus Wren, Arizona has a lot to offer as a wedding destination. The obvious destination wedding of Arizona is the massive Grand Canyon National Park. The Grand Canyon houses a lot of ideal locations for memorable wedding ceremonies, but be sure to investigate some of Arizona's hidden treasures such as the Petrified Forest, Salt River Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, and of course, the Colorado River.
A very relevant concern is the heat of a spring or summer wedding. While some may see temperatures in the 100's, it should also be explained that this is a dry heat and not a humid heat like most would experience in the southeastern U.S.. A 104 temperature in Georgia would be a "lie down and die" temperature, but in Arizona (while still hot) is pretty bearable. Color coordinating a blue and gold wedding would be a good idea since those are also the state colors.
